Feel like fresh grilled fish and seafood and want to try a neigborhood type restaurant in Montreal? This is a good alternative. There are always a good number of fresh choices for "the catch of the day" however, I find that their seared tuna, red snapper and sardines are absolutely excellent at par with "the best places in town". They carry a complete menu of very good meat and pasta dishes too however, they excel in the seafood department. Prices are moderate however, the value of the "table d'hote" is excellent plus one must also factor in that it is a "Bring Your Own Wine (BYOW)" place which makes a big customer experience difference. Very friendly and responsive staff although service may be a little slow at dinner time, as it gets quite busy. Portions are not as generous as they used to be (although always as good and fresh) that explains my 4/5 granted score.
