We were looking for a restaurant near the cinema Forum and we found this warmhearted turkish restaurant very nearby, exotic decor, good music and very tasty food, the lentil soup is to die for, as was the lamb and beef kebab. Highly recommanded. Thank you Sihem for your excellent service and interesting comments.

It was the fist time we go to this place and we were really impressed by the service. Immediately after we entered, a servant asked us if we have a reservation or not and that it s not gonna be long. while waiting for like 3 minutes, every other servant passing by, asked us with enthusiasm if we've been advised or yet about the wait.
Once on table, the servant gave us the menus and gave us few minutes.Once ready, she came by and explained every details and even gave us better suggestions.
The food presentation was very nice; Big plates with adequate shapes that let you feel the Turkish culture while listening to the Turkish traditional music. Fresh bread was baked instantly. Food comes on the table right out of the pan. And the final touch was with the amazing Turkish tea.
The taste made me go back in time, few years ago, when I went to Istanbul. Whoever made it, knew what he was doing. I never expected to get that flavor in Montreal!
Long story short: I recommend this great restaurant to everybody who wants a change from the similar menus everyday in usual restaurants in Montreal.
For what you get, I believe it's not expensive at all.
Thank you

We had been here a number of times but not for about two years. Since then it seems it has changed ownership. However it has not missed a beat. It was and still is delicious. The four of us shares five appetizers - all delicous. Eggplant, muhammara (? excuse the spelling), spiced green beans, among others as well as sharing a mixed platter for four people piled high with kefta, grilled chicken kebabs, lamb and mixed lamb\beef. This mains were accompanied with bulgur, rice\chickpea, green salad and minced lamb on lavash (forgot the real name). Of course it all comes with the delicious flat bread, lavash, prepared so professionally and delicately by a woman in the window. Price was very reasonable. The place was pretty crowed but service was impeccable by the wait staff and the owner. We've been here a number of times as mentioned and no doubt will be coming back.

I went to this restaurant several times, the food is good, but you may be annoyed by the smell of cigarette! The most staff working in the kitchen are smoking in the hall at the end of this restaurant. This is the main problem of there.
Another problem is the huge increase in the prices !!! For instance, the "fillet minion" was $12 and they suddenly changed it to $19 (before tax!)
So if you can deal with the new prices and smoke smell, have a fun there :)
