Right on the edge of the walled city so perfect for walking the area. Beds are OK (but not a highlight) and the staff are extremely pleasant. Our room had an electric fireplace that didn’t work, a TV fixed to the wall that didn’t point at the bed, and sitting chairs that we too squeaky to sit in. But the location and out time in Old QC made up for all of that!

Good stay in a lovely room overlooking the square for our anniversary, a big thank you to the hotel for looking after us. The service was very good but some aspects a bit functional as a hotel rather than luxurious.
The hotel is in a great location nr some fab restaurants on a hop on hop off bus stop and only a very short walk into the old town .
It was good value and I would recommend this as a good place to stay for a couple of days in Quebec.

This is a lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Great location in the middle between old town, restaurant row and several shopping areas. Half hour walk to most attractions. The only blemish is the hotel restaurant- while ok it’s not up to the standards of the r st of the hotel. I’ll be back!

The hotel is exceptionally well located. Close to Old Quebec and the Plains. It was neat and tidy and the staff were efficient and nice. Our room was in the Vieux Quebec building (the hotel has 4 different areas). Even though it was on the fourth floor it had the feeling of being in the basement. Not much light. Window into a courtyard looking at other rooms. The room was well equipped, good bed. Not charming, but nice enough. Bathroom was a decent size.Reasonably quiet (weekends in Quebec City can be noisy!).

If you are planning group business or just heading to Quebec for fun, stay at the Chateau Laurier! We just had a meeting there and the staff was friendly, the food was excellent and the location couldn’t be better! Not just a big box hotel, a very quaint, full service location - a great value!!
