It is hard to find lower cost meals in the old city. This is a small place and was very busy when we were there, but the food is worth it. Middle eastern sandwiches to go are the best. I had a great falafel sandwich there.

My family was staying in Quebec City for a few days, and this was a great place to grab a quick lunch. The area has a allot of upscale sit down restaurants, so this was great because we wanted to eat fast. Most of the staff speaks English and French so they were able to help us order. It could have been cleaner though, there were flies flying around when we were eating.

Yes, really. Outstanding poutine in the land of poutine in this little basement establishment. The frites were great, gravy was great, curds were generous and the merguez sausages made it - never had to ration anything. Generous portion at least when ordering the supersize.

My wife had the kafta dinner which was also really good. Fries are made differently for this than for the poutine. Great value, great food.

Food is halal, which is not easy to find in Old Quebec. We did some heavy retail therapy in Old Quebec on a wet rainy day. This place looks nothing from the footpath but the food really is fresh and tasty. Its NOT oily donor kebab meat but freshly cooked chicken and salads are crunchy. We had the 3pce deal of chicken salad wrap and herbed wedges + can of drink for about $12.
They had a nice range of Lebanese sweets as well.

Everything was just fine. The shish tauk does not remind at all of Lebanese flavours. The shawarma was good: go for the lamb.
