We have been to Angkor with extended family, 7 - 9 people, three times in the past few months plus one take out order. I have to say I prefer eating at the restaurant as the experience of the dishes arriving at the table is part of the overall experience. The food and service have been excellent each time with our latest visit being the best. I had stopped coming here because the food was pretty average but something appears to have changed. Our whole family which includes East Indian and northern European members really appreciate the food, even our hard to please teenager who usually wants hamburger or pizza, enjoys coming here.
I try to order a wide variety of dishes so we have different flavours, textures and a nice mix of protein and carbs. This is easy to accomplish at Angkor where the seafood, tofu, noodle and vegetable dishes provide many choices. Favourites include Cambodian noodles, eggplant hot pot, Boneless Thai basa fish and Pad Thai. Even when its busy service is fast and the food has been consistently good.
