Stayed 3 days from 15th sept, what a fantastic place, so full of traditional character, and the home Cook French food is and must say the best I've had, even better that a couple of meals had in nearby restaurants. My 1st visit, all ready planing a return. Tina, Nico wow what more can I say, will be back soon.

This is a gem and what I think vacations should be all about. A great location to base out of, great hospitality, tremendous value. Christina shares her love of the area and love of food for a total experience. Wished we had booked for more nights. Nico..best Pain du Chocolat I have ever had. Just such a cool place..totally agree with an earlier review...a truely fabulous find

Can't say enough about this charming B&B , Lovely mountain village, warm, friendly hostess, high end finishes and touches throughout. Christina has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable to the point of feeling pampered. She is knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful and you'll love the gorgeous interiors, fluffy towels and amazing home cooking on offer. A wonderful find in this hidden corner of France!

What a wonderful visit to this charming little town. This is an amazing place -- parts of remaining castle walls, even. Christina's hospitality is well beyond what anyone could expect. And what a wonderful cook! She and Nico were most helpful.

This year our trip to France was on a go with the flow basis. We wanted to experience different people and places and this was an enjoyable part of our journey.
We arrived fairly late in the area and still hadn't decided on a place to stay. We saw Chez Providence online and thought it looked very nice but slightly different to the chain hotels we were used to. We decided to knock on the door and see if they had a room for us.
"Bonjour, avez vous une chambre pour ce soir" I asked feeling rather pleased with myself. The reply came back in swift French and I was a little stumped at what to say next. Christina, realising my confusion also offered us a room using perfect English! We found it quite amusing and a relief.
Our room was the attic room. Its the only room we had in France that had its own sofa area with the much added bonus of tea and coffee making facilities. We did a mini happy dance when no one was looking.
The beds were very large and we had a great nights sleep in them. We each had a duvet cover which meant no late night territory wars.
Breakfast was a nice experience with a mix of French and English speakers at the table. We met some lovely people and ate nice food.
The area was beautiful. We took a trip to Carcassonne 30 mins away and also visited Lac du Montagne Noir which was amazing.
We would definitely visit here again if we were in the area. So glad we tried something different.
