Stayed nearby over Independence Day weekend, and had dinner here the first night. The experience was so good we cancelled our reservation the final evening at a much more expensive restaurant and returned to Blue Angel. First night: very good food, very good service. Second night: Same tasty food, but very slow, very disorganized service. To be fair, it was busier the second evening, but the staff was significantly more in the weeds than the situation dictated. Our favorite dishes were the miso glazed salmon and the cioppino. With more experience/training/organization, the service shortcomings should no longer keep Blue Angel Cafe from being great.
