Stayed at a Water Villa with Pool over looking the Indian Ocean with my wife and 3 Year old daughter.

Upon arrival Firu greeted us and she took care of us the whole trip. Her recommendations were excellent and she made sure we got the best of LUX which was by far the best resort experience we had so far. Her professionalism and experience was remarkable. So grateful for all the help and Thank you so much Firu.

Our over water Villa with a pool and a rooftop relaxing area was fantastic with beautiful views. We got to see dolphins literally few meters away from our Villa. Snorkeling area was nice and I was lucky enough to see a Turtle along with so many other Fishes.

They serve a great BREAKFAST at the buffet restaurant but one day we decided to order a floating breakfast at the pool which was equally great with all the favorites.

During dinner i noticed that the food tasted great and presentation was pure art. Its like the Chef was also an artist. Simply perfect. Our dinner at the Peruvian and Japanese (INTI) restaurant was perfect as Chef Ziyan made the best sushi rolls ever. We even got to try one of his special rolls which was amazing.

Spa was perfect and relaxing. Over looking the ocean and each treatment room had glass flooring to see the fishes and corals below.

Our daughter loved the fun filled kids club. Their homemade ice-cream's were amazing and LUX Cafe serves great inhouse roasted coffee. Firu recommended a Caramel Latte which everyone should try.

All the staff and management were so welcoming. Glad that we met the resort manager Mr. Masdhooq before we left. His team definitely perfected the formula for luxury vacations.

Highly recommend this resort island to destress and relax. The resort was excellent in cleanliness and we felt safe the whole time. A well needed getaway since this pandemic started, and LUX* team simply made it unforgettable. THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAM LUX* NORTH MALE ATOLL.

We went for 7 days our honeymoon. All the staff were very friendly and always smiling which reflecting positively on us and made us feel safe and happy all the time. The activities were really nice and most importantly safe. Aziz from the diving center is so knowledgeable and helped us swim back when we fall into the sea - he is very professional. He loves his job and loves tourists.
The food was generally really nice! The floating tray is amazing and tasty. The spa is next level, it is dreamy and unforgettable.. they had packages that are worth it (ex. 4 hours of choosing any service you want). The photographer is amazinggggg... the photography packages are a bit pricy. The hotel interior and architecture are amazing.
Its very romantic, recommend it for honeymooners.
We went during the festive season, there were a lot of celebrations ... we took half board ... the food was very good.
It is a very luxurious hotel ... that I recommend for everyone.. we loved how we were given a smartphone to call our room butler anytime and they handled all our bookings and everything (simply ease of mind).
My husband loved the message experience in the Spa (especially that there was a male therapist this was very thoughtful of the resort).
Also, we enjoyed a complimentary yoga sessions! That was lovely and both of us enjoyed a loooot. Especially that it was on the roof top of the restaurant with a lovely relaxing view. We requested a partition to be placed in front of our villa on the beach for more privacy and they provided it to us very quickly and this was one of the highlights of the trip as we enjoyed complete privacy.
We stayed 7 days, however we wished we could have stayed more ... it was unforgettable experience!!!

Improvements:

-There were aunts in our beach Villa my husband is allergic to aunts bite... however we called them and the sprayed the place and dealt with it
- over the water villa, it has a wooden like fence it could be longer in order for the guests passing through to not see the other swimming pool and Gazebo of the Villa. This is very important to consider because the privacy of the villa. I saw a couple of customers mentioning this here too.
- sea-boat transport was not the best, too many people into a small boat that drove so fast and most of us (if not all) felt very dizzy especially that the weather was very windy and rainy. However, the resort compensated us and gave us a private transportation when going back.
- the rooftop cinema night popcorn machine was not working and we wanted it so badly ... to take pictures. The machine/ projector showing the movie shut down in the middle of the movie (it had no charge).. so we went to sleep..
- more activities should be considered for rainy/windy days... more than half of our trip was thunderstorm so all activities were canceled... maybe the hotel should consider activities for these days.
-MOST IMPORTANT: to have heaters in the pool because during the thunderstorm we did nothing .. we couldn't even swim the pool was freezing ... even during the other days most of the times the weather was cold and we couldn't swim.. it was very sad...

Overall, amazing experience that I highly recommend to everyone...
