The owner of the hostel is friendly. Everyone is willing to help you. The cleaning is good and the Wi-Fi is great.

The apartment is not in the main hotel, it is two blocks away. We had a room with a window to the balcony, but the window did not have a lock. The bed makes a lot of noise when you turn around in the bed. When we checked in, we got two papers. One with a map and the other with the rules. At the back of one paper were two names from girls from Germany with their names, date of birth, passport numbers and signature on it. Very unprofessional. The location is OK, but it is not in the main street. We had to share one toilet in the same room as the shower with six people. The ‘living room’ is not cozy at all, did not feel like hanging out there.

We have stayed for three nights at Casa La Eliana. It was even better than expected! The owner is super helpful and is able to give you so many tips about where to go in Salento. The room is clean and the restaurant of Casa La Eliana is amazing. It is very comfortable to just walk down and have such great food offered to you. We would absolutely stay another time at Casa La Eliana if we were to return to Salento!

After arriving in salento far later than we expected, and the hostel reception being closed by 9pm, we had to stay our first night somewhere else. Jesus (staff or owner) was very quick to communicate via email and gladly modified our reservation to not include the first night. We checked in the following day, the staff were extremely charming and friendly, food smelled great and the dining area and garden were very beautiful. We stayed in a room on the main floor of the house property, a block or so from the main building on a quiet street. The place was very clean and spacious, with a full kitchen and lovely covered patio out back. Tremendous value considering it felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves (there are 3 bedrooms total in the apartment and other guests were quiet and we rarely crossed paths). The only thing I would change is a little more availability at the reception desk but otherwise it was a perfect experience!

In the busy little town of salento that is buzzing with tourists the casa la eliana offers an oasis. Apart from the nice garden, the food that is served on the patio is great and the staff is extremely friendly. Jesus recommended us a walk in the corcora valley and sent us the route via maps.me - a very good idea that allows to explore the beatiful valley on your own

This hostal was a few minutes walk from the main plaza, so away from much of the hustle and noise that seemed to characterise those closest to Calle Real, but also very close to the bus terminal. Staff were wonderful and relaxed and there is a lovely chill out garden out the back. The only gripe would be the music from the food truck park next door (which isn't the hostal's fault but perhaps rooms away from that side would be great!). Oh and free coffee!!!
