We stopped here on our way from the UK to Italy. In beautiful countryside. Well appointed and warm bedroom at a very reasonable price. Nice, friendly staff welcome. Excellent breakfast included in the price - bread great, local home made jam superb.

Room Tip: Room 4 is nice and quiet.

We visited Le Fournil on our way to Austria on a ski trip and were so impressed we stayed on the way back as well. Redu is very small quiet village.
Very comfortable clean rooms. There is a very cosy bar / restaurant serving really good food. There is a great selection of beer, but had a couple of Le Corne in a glass hunting horn thing.
Excellent varied buffet breakfast.
Was quiet on the way out but very busy on the way back so probably best to ring ahead.
It is very close to the motorway for onward travel. Plenty of parking across the road behind the Church.

Room Tip: Room four had a constant hum from kitchen fan, not too bad.

the village is beautifull, books everywhere,
bubbling streams everywhere... quiet walks, maps in the tourist centre

Having been here before, years ago, we remembered the warm even though somewhat clumsy welcome. We were extremely surprised by the make over of the rooms. Fantastic upgrade and now a really pleasant hotel to stay for a weekend with family and friends. The restaurant is ok, service extremely friendly. One point of improvement could be that there is no room or bar to sit comfortably to mesmerise on the beautiful sceneries you walked through during the day. Do try their Saint Estephe on the wine list. Great value for money.
