We had high hopes for this place as a stopover between Manali and Delhi. Looks great on the website... It will rank among the worst stays I’ve ever had.
The rooms were clearly shut due to the monsoon (we realised only once we got there) but the host, Ada, was quick to accept the booking over the phone. We didn’t have an inkling what awaited us. The rooms were damp and smelly.. as were the mattresses and blankets... the pillows had fungus.. the AC dripped water into the room. We had booked the stay for 3 people but ended up not using the third bed due to the above mentioned issues. 3 adults adjusted on 1 double bed. The AC had to be turned off due to the water dripping on our heads.. one can imagine the ordeal.
I messaged Ada asking for a refund for the 3rd bed since we didn’t use it.. She has chosen to ignore it.
The dinner was 250/ head for dal and cabbage sabzi... clearly a rip off again.
We paid almost 4000 INR for the night and it really hurt.. more than anything else.... Ada’s attitude was deplorable. Please don’t open your space to guests if you are unprepared. Or at least warn them. Oh yeah, the gardens were beautiful.More
