In its day this must have been a stunning hotel but now it is dated and the religious statues are very off putting. We stayed for two nights and because it is isolated we had dinner in the hotel on both nights. We had the set menu {on the first night we were not even offered any alternative} on both nights and my husband chose the fish dish which came on its own .... just fish with sauce and nothing else - very strange! There was a choice of starter and mains but the dessert was a case of take what you get which on the second night was yoghurt which I hate! Quality of food is very poor. I can honestly say that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and two days later my back is still sore. All in all a very disappointing stopover.

An out of town hotel with good facilities (rooms, restaurant, bar and parking).

Well decorated but, I apologise if this offends, a little over the top with the religious theming.

Evening meal was a 'menu of the day' but would recommend ordering A la Carte as the choice was more inspiring.

Breakfast......if there was a cafe nearby, I am sure that I would have used that instead.

Overall, room good and the rest... ok to good.

Room Tip: Choose a room that does not overlook the main road.

For those who love a classic and antique look. This is the hotel to stay at. The staff were very kind and generous and the meals showed variety. Not really recommended for a long stay but is good for short stopovers during a long journey.

WI-FI: really good. you can connect all the device you need. it's open
Breakfast: not the best one
Parking: easy and free
Heating: could be better
Noise: creaking all around
Staff: nice and hospitable

The area is not the best one, you'll need a car to move. Is very good position for the "Camino de Santiago" but not the best one to visit Burgos.
Rooms are ok, good size and the bed is comfortable. and the bathroom is big enough.
bath-foam not really a good quality.
less than 50€ for a double room is a great value!

It was the first of two nights our family spent in Burgos, while hiking the Camino de Santiago. We had a "rest" day here and this hotel was just the ticket! It was a short distance out of town, but taxis were cheap and easy to catch. The hotel staff were very welcoming and our rooms were great and inexpensive. We were shocked at how huge the shower/bath was, even by American standards. Our rooms were air conditioned and very clean. The decor is a unique mix of French regency and country antiques, but very nicely done.
