We stayed one night passing through on our route to the coast. We had our dog with us and there was no extra charge for him. Great value for money as it was very cheap. The room was spacious and clean. We ate in the bar area in the evening which was fine.
We waited ages to check in. Staff could see us in reception but we were ignored until i asked to check in.. Not sure why this happened

Having just turned off the A-23 and seen a very disappointing major service station where clearly all the coaches stop, we decided to try our luck for lunch at the next place we saw en route and were so glad we did. We passed the bar area on the way in and headed for the restaurant and got a great lunch at a very reasonable price. For 11 euros a good butter bean with chorizo soup, grilled swordfish and a crème caramel (flan) plus a quite passable red wine. The other member of the party had the slightly more upmarket menu with a mixed starter of calamares, prawns, asparagus, croquetas, a main of good quality lamb chops with red pepper garnish finished off with ice cream gateau, good coffee and excellent service throughout.

No Menu's in English.
Our Spanish was not as good as we thought.
One waitress was able to help us enough to place orders. Which we were very grateful.

We definitely stood out as tourist.
We were getting quite the stares from the locals.

The place was packed.
We were very pleased with the quality and taste of the items we received.
We didn't know the wine was included in the fixed price menu.
Great value for the $ paid.
We didn't need the wine that early in day with still needing to drive to the city center to check into our hotel. Just mentioning for those who may read this.

We had drove from Madrid Spain. Along the way this was recommended to us.

This is not a Fancy place but appeared clean.
Lots of customers appeared to be working men, but also with a mixture of a few families.

They have a Bar area and a Hostel.
We did not find out any info on Hostel mainly because we wouldn't be staying there we had hotel reserved in City Center of Teruel, and also Because of the Language Barrier.

When we return to Teruel we would stop in again and hopeful our Spanish will be better.

On a recent work trip we had two dinners here. It opens late, at 9, so if you are hungry from a long day its a bit of a wait, but its worth it. You don't come here for the atmosphere or decor, or the service. The owner is untypically and hilariously taciturn, though the Polish waitress more than compensated. The food is just exactly what a hard days work calls for. Big solid meaty flavoursome tucker. Great soups, good stocks and rich sauces, its just a really good value place for very tasty country food.
