It is very difficult to reach the film city because there are no sign boards or route maps available. The destination itself is like ruins. There is not much maintenance done. The gate keeper will charge you as per his desire to enter the destination

its a long way out but its nice to sometimes just go out and see what's lurking in the desert as opposed to the busy city life.

My first visit was by chance, the idea was to to go to Zekreet beach, we were told then that its few KM away.
My advice is not to go unless a part of a package to Zekreet.
Get there early in your 4WD car , get every thing you need for BBQ enjoy some time filming, selfieing in the desert of Borooq, the name of the area where the film city is,and then back to Zekreet for beach experiance.
No shops or restaurants are there so get food and drink and GPS for the journey as roads are not marked properly.or you hust follow the sea side.
