It has a rather extended waterfront- nicely made for walking and biking. Bike riders have their own lane. What distracts from the the beautiful view is the sea weed that washes up. Don't walk it when it is hot because there is not shade.

I rollerblade, run and bike and when I saw this gorgeous Malecon, I saw possibilities and many mornings and evening of activities.

A must see!

Although it's a nice promenade it's not really attractive to stroll for miles and miles. The road next to it is quite busy. Good for a walk and to take in the fresh seabreeze.

A bit of a confusion of modern and not very creative buildings but it comes into its own at Carnaval time, when it should not be missed.

No beaches but well planned and executed male con. Locals abound and are friendly. Plenty of places to stop an dress for the loss ambitious. Seperate paved lanes for walkers, bikes and runners.
