“Good Malecon ”

We enjoyed walking along the malecon several times - late afternoon in the rain and early morning.
Both times it was enjoyable - and hot - and in places there was a lot of trash from the gulf.
Here: the city would do well to do more cleanups.

The malecon is nice.
It's a great place to walk with expansive views of the gulf, many other walkers and joggers and some fisherman selling fresh caught fish.
The ancient city walls and the city within are the best.

We walked along the sea for miles but I nearly melted. Worth it.

Will be back for more. Quiet (ignore the traffic) and very calming.

We loved Campeche, it was such a relaxed place with a lovely, friendly vibe. The waterfront is a great place for a stroll with nice views of the water and the city itself.
Plenty of nice photo opportunities and places to sit and relax, some nice waterfront eateries and bars too - but not too many to make it commercialised in any way. it has a very 'local' feel and we really like dit.

It felt so refreshing after a hot day by walking along the waterfront in the late afternoon. Great view!

This is one of the best and longest promenades I have ever seen and it is great for walking or biking. There are many stops along the way and all with beautiful water views.
