After running the first half of The Ridgeway, the three of us pitched up covered in mud. After showering our feet off on their lawn, Susan & Simon saw us to our lovely rooms with tea and freshly baked banana bread. After a short walk into Goring-on-Thames for dinner, a great nights sleep and a hearty breakfast, we were well prepared to complete the second half of our adventure. A lovely house with lovely hosts.

Such a brilliant achievement to run the Ridgeway in two days, we were very impressed. So glad we could provide the half time rest and recuperation. Hope to see you all again one day, for the next adventure!

Beautiful property and a relaxing stay. Covid safe, felt very safe and pre-cautions taken which made me feel comfortable. I was even given some organic apples from the tree in back! Close to town and easy for running or walking. I need to to back

Thanks to Susan and Simon for a friendly welcome and very comfortable stay in their beautiful home. We slept in spacious ‘Willow’ on the top floor, a large room which was really clean and well-appointed - fantastic large bed with quality bedding, lovely big sofa and a great en-suite with both bath and shower. We really appreciated the big fan too as it was hot when we stayed. Chaddleworth has a glorious garden and we really enjoyed our breakfast outside and a stroll amongst the charming flower beds and veg patches. I loved the homemade marmalade - delicious! We stayed in August 2020 at the height of new Covid-19 protocols and we felt that Susan and Simon did everything possible to meet all regulations whilst still offering a warm welcome.

Whilst in the area, spent a wonderful night at this B&B that sits comfortably in a family home close to the Thames. Spacious and well appointed rooms (we had the room on the top floor), with Boutique hotel standard of bathroom, beds and bedding, together with a good selection of teas and coffee in room. The breakfast prepared and served by the very friendly couple that own the house, was fabulous - a proper full English with home made jams in abundance. They could of course cater for my dairy and gluten intolerant wife with no fuss at all !! We were kindly allowed to venture out for a walk before leaving - from the top of the nearby hill, to the banks of the Thames, we were spoilt for great views. Thoroughly recommend.
