I stayed here for one night with my daughter. It is outside the noisy, crowded centre of Koforidua and is a welcome respite from the town's hustle and bustle.
It is a large fairly anonymous hotel, built and run on European lines. The room we had was very comfortable, two large beds with clean linen; the AC was very effective and the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower - it was the first bath my volunteer daughter had had for 4 months. The TV and wifi both worked well, too.
It's best feature is its swimming pool - which on a weekday morning was empty - it was big and very clean - and wonderful.
Breakfast is good, different cereals, toast jam, omelettes.
Recommended but expensive at 285 cedis per night.

The place is somehow outside of town, right under the prominent rock at the North, near a junction to the road to Mamfe and Akwapim hills. You might walk from that junction, but not from the centre of town (I went there with my scooter).

I leased a racket for 10 cedis and could play my first game in Ghana. The swimming pool on that Sunday was too occupied with locals. The next day its cleaning took too long to allow me a morning swim. This is only a minor fault in an otherwise very good hotel for local standard. I paid 80$ for a big double room. Free internet stations there are plenty of them. The choice of satellite TV stations is a bit limited.

Room tip: We arrived at 12 a.m. and the reception said we must wait, until the standard room has got ready. Soon after, however, they told us to take a room with bigger size and somewhat higher prize.
