Wonderful location right on the beach. Really well appointed cabin which was dog friendly. The enclosed verandah was another bonus for keeping our dog safe. Very clean. Great walks along foreshore and creek and beach. Fantastic quality mattress. Worth staying.

We chose to have our xmas break here after reading the reviews. The staff were some of the friendliest that we've come across in the many parks we've stayed in. Yes it was busy, (doesn't bother us, we do xmas van trips every year), but its the xmas school holiday break, you will get that at any park ground on the coast at xmas.
The amenities when I used them were basic but clean for the amount of people using them, and the washing machines did the job. Camp kitchen was basic but clean and usable as well, and the pool was nice to cool off in.
The park is great that you walk out the front and across the road you have the ocean, which is only a small stroll up the path to a patrolled beach and surf club.
Shops are near by as well. Phone reception is hit and miss, mostly miss with optus, but telstra, no problem at all. But hey, its a holiday, turn your phones off .
If I have anything of a negative nature to say about the park it would be about the waste bins. Yes they were smelly and overflowing, but the park was full to capacity.
# Perhaps a suggestion that ive seen at another site over the busy holiday break:
They place individual bins on their sites that are emptied daily by the ground staff, and then taken to their large waste bins that are in an isolated place away from the campers.
All being said, we had a great relaxing time away, we enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely be back for another trip.

We recently stayed with family & friends after Christmas on an ensuite site. Good facilities & nice pool. Also had a kids club available with a jumping castle each day. Friendly helpful staff & fantastic New years eve party including entertainment & prizes. Thank you for a great base for our holiday.

Truly disappointed with our stay at the park. Total mismanagement of grounds and facilities with rubbish strewn and overflowing with maggots at every point and a hideous smell wafting everywhere we went. We had such high hopes after reading reviews we picked this over other places. We paid $47 for UNPOWERED camping - this seems totally over priced. We saw the ground staff multiple times across the afternoon sitting around, this seems lazy considering the state of the park.
Camp kitchen is basic but has everything you need, facilities dirty with a full park using them, need to be cleaned multiple times a day. Pool was nice, a bit over heated, playground basic and does not cater to little kids, also this is located right next to toilet block.

Unfortunately there was an oversight of park requirements during this peak period.
