Good day out with young children once inside lots of things to Do. But egg hunt disappointing not many eggs went at 12 ish .saw 1 person dropping eggs but 1 at a time and a child following got them all so none for anyone else. 3rd time of visiting 1st time no eggs second time lots because saw lots of people throwing handfuls out took 3 grandchildren good job I took some back up eggs. For the entry price and how many people visit think more priority should be made to egg hunt. Queues for face painting too long so need extra help and car park was full 1 hour after opening good job we had 4x4 and could park on grass verge .

Having visited this lovely house earlier in the year and picked up a leaflet for the Christmas presentation of the home we were keen to pay it a visit. We were not disappointed, and what was so lovely was that all the decorations had been made by the family who live in the house. The trimmings were so beautiful, very different, and made and dressed with a lot of love. The family and all the staff were responsible for the work. I would definitely go again next year.

On our way to the coast, it had been recommended to us, to try the cafe at Burton Agnes Hall. What a disappointment!

The temperature in the cafe was certainly not acceptable. We kept our coats on ( so did everyone else). The bread served with the soup was not fresh and tasted doughy. The butter was so cold it could not be spread. The toilets, although clean, were cold. Even the staff looked cold and were rubbing their hands together to keep warm.
The interior of the cafe looked a bit grubby and the cushions on the seats were dirty.

The only positive was the tomato soup. It was piping hot.

We were going to have coffee and cake but couldn’t get back to the car quick enough to heat up!

Poor value for money.

Was a very poor excuse to be called a festival the house was closed apart from 3 rooms with 1 good display was just a money makin idea would need to improve 10000% i would not recommend to anyone. The staff are good though in all other areas but was let down after great anticipation

Nice place to visit all year round, but the entrance fee into the hall is quite steep, plenty to see in the lovely gardens, and they now have a maze to enjoy, well worth a visit
