Langkawi's first tiger has been relocated to a new location, which we will review once the link is available.

Nevertheless, the Raccoons that have since taken over are entertaining: swimming, chasing each other, munching on snacks given by our host.

These are not local animals so care is taken to ensure that they do not escape and cause a ruckus in the local forest. Children will enjoy a trip here, especially over a scoop of ice cream

There was no tiger exhibit since it was closed for renovation. Only the restaurant is serving foods and drinks.

I ordered chicken roast mash, it was just OK as the chicken taste like it has taken out of refrigerator after a week or so. It was not fresh.

If you want to see the tiger and have your meal or drink, forget it.

If your going for meal or drink only, then it should be good.

Was looking forward to seeing the tiger but the place is under renovation - making it more better for the tiger. you apparently look at it through the glass. There is no fee but you need to buy food or drink. It is in the area near the Crocodile farm.

I don't encourage exhibitions of captive animals however this is different. It is situated at the Bolaven cafe, which uses coffee from sustainable sources. The tiger was brought up in captivity but has a wonderful bond with the employer and employees. She has a big space to roam and is fed often. The cafe supports her diet by donation and buying food and merchandise. Food is so-so, coffee is nice. If you are planning to go for the elephant adventure, go there first. You get free black coffee for two at the bolaven if you show your ticket.
