“Family visit”
Reviewed 5 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Booked this holiday home as it was a stone's throw from Fraserburgh were our family stay
We traveled from Belfast Northern Ireland
Lovely location very small quaint village with some local shops that can supply you the basics
Fraserburgh the main town is a few miles away
The house was well equipped with every thing from pots to pans
The only negative we would have is that there was no washing machine
There was a dishwasher that we never used rather have a washing machine in place of that
We had two young potty training children and required to supply our own towels too
With that we had a few bits of washing accumulated over the 3 day stay, lucky we brought extra and had my parents to do a spot of washing
Apart from that negative the cottage is perfect lovely sized rooms clean fresh and modern
Lovely walks along the harbour and a stone's throw from Aberdour bay and Aden park

Hi James,
Many thanks for your kind review.
I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay at our cottage.
Sorry about not having a washing machine, but we took the decision that guests would prefer a dishwasher, than a washing machine, but, its not easy to totally accommodate everyone.
Should you wish to return in the future then please keep us in mind, and take a look at our other cottage in Rosehearty, The Creel Cottage, which is only a few yards away in the same street, and is much larger and has more facilities, including a washing machine
Regards
Kenny

“Clean & comfortable little cottage”
Reviewed 27 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

I booked both West Rocks cottage & the Creel cottage for a family weekend trip away. As with the Creel cottage West Rocks did not disappoint, Kenny the owner has supplied everything imaginable to make your stay a real home from home experience. The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. Rosehearty is a lovely little fishing village with 2 bars a butchers/post office and a spar shop. So pleased we chose Kenny's properties for our stay. Thank you for making our stay so good. Would not hesitate to book these cottages again in the future.

“Perfect get away.”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

WOW, Kenny the owner has thought of everything. The perfect home from home. Angela had even turned the heating on so it was nice and cosy when we got there, It Was just so relaxing and clean. Everything you could want. even DVDs for the kids to watch.
There is a Spa shop at the top of the road and they sell just about everything you could need. the sea is a stones throw away and the kids loved collecting shells its not a sandy beach so you do have to be careful when walking but if you want a sandy beach Fraserbrough is about 3 miles away,
We are planning to go back to Scotland again soon and will definitely be using Kenny's accommodation again if its free,
Thanks for a memorable stay Kenny and Angela.

Stayed for a week in the hope of seeing the Northern Lights, we never saw them, but got to relax in a great place in a cottage that was like home from home.

Kenny, the owner, has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Oh I tell a lie, my wife and I played a game, trying to think of something that was not provided. The only thing we could think of, was a pizza cutter

Angela, the housekeeper was most attentive and friendly, nothing was too much bother. She explained where everything was and how it worked and made us feel most welcome. Angela was typical of the locals, very friendly and eager to pass on their knowledge of the area.

Rosehearty is a small place, with only two pubs, a restaurant, a shop and a post office. We tried the Davron, the food was OK and the service once again, friendly. Rosehearty is a great place to relax and maybe a enjoy a few good walks. The coast line is most impressive and we were lucky to enjoy some fine weather.

I hope you have gathered, my wife and I enjoyed our stay in West Rocks cottage and would thoroughly recommend it.
