If you can stand the Asian invasion, this is a wonderful day trip. Ask local advice for weather conditions and try for a clear day.

Worth every penny, the view got me speechless, i was lucky enough to be there in a very sunny and warm day.

We took the train from Interlaken. With two changes, it's a beautiful train ride up to the top. As others have pointed out, it's expensive - easily >$200 per person. But, there's a lot that comes with it: the view from the train and the observatory, but also the ice museum, a place where you can go out and head into the snow, and very nicely kept up exhibitions within the hollowed out mountains. There's a brief and interesting Tour you should definitely follow that takes you to all these places.

The food is not that great, and as everything else, pretty expensive. Definitely subtracting 1 star at a minimum for being given a cheap liqour when we were clearly trying to buy single malt whisky. We paid for the more expensive stuff, and when we were confused about the outer packaging, we were ensured that "Yes, the single malt is in here." Hours later, after opening the box, it became clear we did not get what we paid for. It might have been (and probably was) an honest mistake, but still - we can discourage you from buying anything (except food & drinks) here.

The train journey from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch is so breathtaking with the awesome views of the various landscapes. The Sphinx Observatory is great too, you get to see the magnificent views and for all your memorable photo shots.

The lunch we had there was good with ice cream dessert of a Swiss flag.

You got to be there to really experience the awesome views, the train journey, walk on the snow and the ice palace.

Overall I guess is still worth if you are visiting during winter time to experience the Swiss alps and snow.

It was quite crowded during the end of November 2017 when we will there. So be early to avoid crowds.

Took a day trip package that covers the journey from Zurich to Bernese Oberland, Interlaken and finally to Jungfraujoch.

The view from Jungfraujoch is AMAZING!

Coming from Asia, this is the first time for me to experiencing falling snow and such cold (chilling) temperature.

During my visit, some of the outdoor activities were closed but there still are few informative areas to visit: Ice palace, Aletsch Glacier..etc But nothing beats the view from Sphinx Observatory.

1. The F&B is extremely expensive. A korean cup noodle is CHF 9.9 up there and i think the mains are around CHF15+. Recommended to pack your sandwich and hot drinks.
2. The Lindt outlet is more expensive. Despite the salesman's pitch that they are cheaper than market or airport - this is NOT true. You can easily beat their price anywhere in Zurich and there are alot of promotions in the airport, so skip the purchase.

3. Wear appropriate clothing

In short: if you are visiting Zurich, this is something you need to do, once in a lifetime.
