Friends took us out for lunch to this fabulous Italian restaurant on Bushey High Street.

Friendly and professional staff, we never had to wait long for food or drinks.

The menu was great and the food arrived piping hot and was really full of flavour. Generous portions, too.

The restaurant itself is stunning. Really warm and cosy but classy, too. Lots of high quality earthy natural finishes - leathers, timbers, metallics and stone. Two huge olive trees running through the main restaurant and warm, inviting lighting.

The garden also looked beautiful. I can imagine it would be a great place to dine outside in the summer.

Loved this place, thoroughly recommended.

Zaza Bushey has a Tuesday Italian Night. This includes Antipasti & a Main Course + as much wine as you can drink all included in the price of £21.90 per person + 10% Service. I shared an antipasti with my friend and as he is gluten free they specially served him with gluten free bread to eat with it. They also made him a gluten free pasta dish which he thoroughly enjoyed. As for me, I had Penne Arrabiata with chicken, a large portion that was cooked to perfection. Naturally we both had two full glasses of wine, mine an excellent Red, as it would have been rude not to!! Service was provided by waiter Krasen, who was a credit to the restaurant and who looked after us perfectly. When we asked for the bill we were presented with a small carafe of Lemoncello, again it would have been rude to say no!! Although a little noisy, for a chain this restaurant has the atmosphere of an independent and I will definitely be returning.

When we arrived at the restaurant the manager is cheerful and welcoming and we are immediately taken our table. Within minutes there is a waiter to take a drinks order. The waiter discusses the menus and dishes with a friendly and positive attitude. He knows what each dish comprises of. The food is beautifully presented and tastes just as good. The atmosphere is great and although always full we can hear each other above the noise. We are made to feel that we are special, I’m sure this applies to all the guests as I say “only the Best”!

Visited with the family for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff and an interesting layout with a tree right in the middle of the dining area. Food was excellent - hot and tasty - at decent prices, and the service was very good indeed. The restaurant is very family friendly and we all had a highly enjoyable time. Will visit again when next back in the area.

Restaurant: layout has been well designed. It gives both the impression of open space and privacy but is still cosy and intimate. Decent decor for a mid-range restaurant.

Staff: attentive and plenty around making service smooth.

Food: decent but not excellent starters. Light rocket garlic and tomato bread that doesn't become too hard and cracked as it cools. Average mushrooms and other starters but reasonable range. Mains were pretty good with fresh pastas of good flavour.

Prices: slightly above comparable chain restaurants but worthwhile.
