We're always satisfied after a visit to Gulliver. The tapas are tasty, well portioned and not expensive. Maribel is always very welcoming and friendly. It's a nice place to relax at after going around the island.

We are staying in Tinajo and every time we drove past Gulliver there always seemed to be people eating and drinking outside. So, two nights ago we decided to try it. The waitress showed us some magnificent fresh fish (of appropriately Brobdinagian proportions) but we told her that would be more than we could manage. Instead we made selections from the tapas menu, namely hot prawns bubbling away in garlic, whitebait, deep fried calamari, and something we had never seen before, hot chorizo done in honey: this last choice, although the concept was off-putting, really hit the spot as the honey seemed to accentuate the essential spiciness and saltiness of the chorizo. All that plus a jug of sangria went down a treat.
Therefore the following night we returned. This time we chose garlic mushrooms with prawns, fillets of seabass with a green salad and locally grown potatoes, and lastly meatballs in a tomato based sauce with French fries. All this washed down with a glass of beer. Remarkably every dish tasted great and we finished up with smiles and empty plates.
The service on both occasions was friendly and attentive.

I have read some reviews which describe this place as expensive. My opinion is that you get what you pay for and at Gulliver you get value for your money

I have been dining here and I am absolutely happy about it: very good papas bravas and papas arrugadas, octopus was delicious and pimiento del patron super crunchy. Prices were indeed ok for the value, service kind and quick and beverages reasonably priced

Great tapas, lots of choice especially liked the use of local specialities such as goats cheese and cactus jam and the choice of tapas or raciones portion sizes.

Very reasonable price. €30 euros for a tapas lunch for three adults.
