Owner description: Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, allow 2 - 3 hours for your visit to Vancouver's iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The park offers more than just the bridge. Its surrounding 27 acres celebrate nature, history and culture in unique and thrilling ways. No more so than with the newest attraction, CLIFFWALK. Cliffwalk hangs for 213m (700ft) and reaches 91m (300ft) high, hugging the granite cliffside and offering a panoramic view of the thriving rainforest and canyon far below. On Treetops Adventure venture from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 110 feet (33m), for a squirrel's eye view of the forest. Guides, signage and interactive exhibits throughout the park help you in your understanding of rainforest ecosystems and their sustainability.

No matter you have an hour or half day, it is a must to visit this place. Though the admission fee is a bit expensive, if you are BC residents, you pay one admission and can be free for a year. The Canyon xmas light and live entertainment is a great place for family and friends to spend xmas gathering there.

Just 14 minutes from downtown Vancouver is another world called Capilano Bridge Park. Since 1889 it has been growing. It was raining in the morning but the clouds were starting to break do we headed over. Lucky because 3 hours later when we left it was crowded. I don’t know whether it was the recent rain or what but the colors of green were awesome. The moss on the trees was a neon color making for an imposing sight that pictures would not do justice. The highlight of the day was not the suspension bridge although it cool. The best was the hike through the tree tops. Walking a 120 feet up going from tree platform to the next was just fascinating. It’s is an easy walk which gradually takes you up and the down. Getting a new perspective as you look down to the forest streams and landscape. It is a must see but try to go when the weather is not so great and just feel the solitude.

This place is a must see! Full of nature stuff plus amazing architectural feats! Enjoyed some really good ice cream and fudge. Took home some Maple Leaf cookies my Mom used to have when I was a kid so she really liked that. Bridge wasn't all that scary... make yourself go across no matter what....

I am not great with heights but there was no way I was missing out in this despite the rain coming down in buckets loads I was ready !

We did the sky walk first and then took the brave pills to head across the suspension bridge it was quiet so we were lucky as I can only imagine when there are a few of you how much this would move !!

We then ate at the cliff house restaurant for some lunch before rejoining our tour all in all and excellent couple of hours and photos to prove the bravery !!

Well, we went to the suspension bridge. Beautifully maintained, bridge walks and views. The first thing, the suspension bridge was a long span and strung across with heavy cables, but a bit crowded and some of the kids got some of their kicks in making the bridge swing....a bit dysnerving until the sea legs returned. The rest of the walks including the treetop walk and the cliff walk were a bit steadier, and equally spectacular views. The display of the bridge over time was very interesting in the photos, especially seeing women in the long, turn of the century (1900's), gowns, hat, and umbrellas strolling across the rope bridge. All in all a nice visit, but a bit pricey and a bit crowded. Probably wont return, but might visit the Lynn Valley bridge
