This is a different experience. The tea room is the usual with very good food and great service. The store is what is different. It is an old fashioned general store with so many things from the past. Do you remember jaw breakers and honey moons? What about licorish cigars? You will find these and more in this wonderful little store. I even found Hungarian Paprika. So go and have a great sandwich and a hot cup of tea and then browse around. This is a perfect place to find unusual stocking stuffers at Xmas.

Great food and very relaxed place to come to. Excellent experience with delicious taste. The setting was quaint and individual but warm.

This little flashback store is a gem. A family run business that evokes charm and warmth.
Great food and a store for all of those British items you just can't find elsewhere..

Took our grandson there for lunch, and a candy shopping stop! We both had a wonderful lunch, and the candy selection, especially for a four year old, was a dream come true!

The home made soup and freshly made sandwiches are the greatest. Staff are friendly and respectful and go out of their way to accommodate.
