Kudos to Chef Kyle and staff for today's outstanding Easter Brunch. An amazing assortment of outstanding salads, traditional brunch fare, omelette station and incredible smoked brisket. In addition, the staff was friendly and attentive and the setting is one of the best in town. Really impressed!

For the life of me I’m not sure why this place isn’t packed with diners. My husband and I go here about twice a month. They have the best fish and chips in town on Friday nights. Real, flaky, beer battered cod. Most restaurants seem to opt for haddock and the result is unfortunate. Even the fries are great! I’ve also had very good pasta dishes and wraps. The restaurant has a chef and it shows. There is attention to detail in places you wouldn’t expect, such as the side salads and homemade coleslaw. The pasta had tons of chicken, roasted garlic cloves, and basil. So much flavour! We also go here for breakfast on occasion. The breakfast is not as impressive, however it is hot, fast, cheap, and well portioned. About what I’d expect for a place that doesn’t specialize in breakfast.

We often go here alter church for breakfast or lunch dishes. All are great. Sometimes we go to the Links on Friday evenings for their fish and chips. They will substitute a delicious salad for the fries. We have been here for a lovely wedding and two special banquets. It isa beautiful room with large windows and a great view of the golf course. These meals were delicious.

We decided to eat here after our round and ended up very disappointed.
My brother-in-law order the steak and asked for it rare but it came out medium-well.
The cook came to our table while getting water at the bar as he must have noticed it wasn’t being eaten and asked if everything was ok. We told him we ordered rare but he tried telling us it was “dark meat because it had been marinated a long time”. When we asked for it to be redone he when back to the kitchen and slammed the door open and we could her and him smashing things around in the kitchen.
He came back less than 5 minutes later and said it would be cold. Rare does by mean cold and the steak was barely even cooked.
Overall, very poor experience. Our server was good but unfortunately we had to deal with the cook and his bad attitude. He was very unprofessional, his food was not cooked properly, and it made it a very uncomfortable kitchen.
