Review of Aurora Inn
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 Jul 2018
We were very pleased and surprised by the efficiency room we booked. Well decorated, comfortable with many convenience items provided (toaster, kettle, microwave, keurig). The check in was easy, and Kevin and the front desk was helpful and friendly. The bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Called last minute for a room, because of a funeral in the family. The gentleman who took my reservation actually new my family (small town) and could not have been more helpful. Only hotel within minutes of our families home in Middleton. It was a bit dated, some updates have been done. Very clean. The staff at the Aurora are stellar in performance and personality. Would definitely stay at the Aurora again.

I will say the only good thing about that place is the staff , very friendly and very helpful . We arrive on Sunday looking forward to our room . We were told when we check in that the kitchenette include only a microwave and a fridge . Never heard that before . I had one of the small type suite . As you can see on the picture it had some issues . In addition they had to come in my room every day so they can access the basement so they can empty the de-humidifier . The place has potential but not there yet by a mile . At this time i would not recommend this place not even for a night

Thank you for your comments. Please accept my apologies for not meeting your expectations. I am unclear as to exactly what you expected in addition to the microwave and refridgerator. We are usually very clear at the time of the reservation as to which amenities are available, specifically in those units. The humidity issue is new to us this fall and we are conducting trial and error tests in our efforts to alleviate the problem. I'm sorry if we disturbed you. Additionally, we are in the midst of starting renovations in those units, replacing all carpeting with wood flooring and tile throughout, and upgrading the bathrooms. Perhaps if you do stay with us in the next couple of months, you may be able to see the planned improvements. Once again, I am sorry you did not enjoy your time with us. Take care, and we wish you safe travels.

A older motel from the 70 or 80 that has had a few changes over the years. The rooms are new and what you would expect. The place is a bit noisy as the walls are thin. Would be nice if a microwave was in the room. There is a bar fredige and coffee maker. And there is a breakfast each morning. Would stay again.

A renovated drive up motel with super comfortable beds and pillows. Nice breakfast area, good WiFi and the best house keeping ever.

Super clean rooms, they were even vacuuming the cracks in the sidewalk when I arrived. They literally put the dog food that spilled back into the bowl.

This will be my new photo when staying in the valley.

Would highly recommend this place for a stay over nite or longer. Very friendly service at check in, always smiling, 24 service if wanting anything. Check in was efficient. Room was very clean and had everything. Keurig for coffee, bathroom amenities, ice bucket which she gladly filled, comfortable king size bed. Breakfast in included. Maids very friendly.
