This hotel is a hidden gem! We arrived on Friday evening and had dinner at the outdoor patio. We shared the BC Wild Salmon Sampler, Divers Scallop Gratin, and Feta and Herb Stuffed Chicken Supreme with Gnocchi ... everything was excellent including our dinner table with the center fire pit. We had a one bedroom suite with a lagoon/water fountain view. The suite was beautifully appointed with a fully stocked kitchen of nice dishes, pots & pans, casserole bowls, cutlery etc. It was very much how I would keep my own kitchen. A door opens to the patio where we enjoyed the morning sun with our breakfast and cafe lattes. (note - we bring our own cappacino machine :-) The suite has everything that you would need for longer stays ... even a washer/dryer hidden behind a door in the bathroom. These are the extras I love when I travel and especially handy when you travel with carry on luggage only. We had noticed people setting up for a wedding the evening before. All I could think about was what a beautiful day it turned out to be and this hotel has such a beautiful setting for a wedding. After a leisurely breakfast we drove up to Whistler to cheer on the riders in the Gran Fondo. It turned out to be such a spectacular day. Thanks to all the staff who were attentive and made our stay very pleasant....More
