Beautiful walk through the beautiful forest trails and beach areas. Wonderful views of the mainland mountains. A must to see and do and it is just on the edge of Parksville BC.

Beautiful place to hike the trail, walk your dog or just watch the seals and whales as they swim by.
Views are spectacular!
At low tide you can walk forever!

Walking Rathtrevor anytime of the year is wonderful! Rain, Snow, Sun - it doesn't matter as the surroundings are breathtaking. Sunny calm days are peaceful walking the ocean floor (when tide is out), thru the giant evergreens or relaxing on the beach; Rainy/stormy times brings the forcefulness of the Ocean out; Snow blankets the forest & beaches with a unique beauty.
Don't miss exploring/camping Rathtrevor, whether you are a local or visitor.

Ocean front park with lots of parking, sitting benches, playground and picnic tables . Walk onto the beach, preferably at low tide, to explore and beach comb. During low tide you can walk 100's of metres towards the ocean. We saw a couple eagles and lots of other birds eating the remains of fish or clams along the shore. Be sure to dress warm as the winds can be very strong and chilling.
