Walking, Hiking, Biking, Picnicing, Camping, Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park has it all. From stormy winter days to warm summer days, enjoy the views, the sounds and salty smells. Very relaxing place to be.

There's nothing more romantic than a walk on the edge of the forest where it meets the shores of the ocean in the fall or any season for that matter! Invigorating, peaceful and a welcoming explosion of the senses. Take the time to enjoy the truly beautiful things in life!

I grew up on Van Isle and spent a lot if time on Rathtrevor Beach .Spring, summer and fall the beach, the forest and the trails are an amazing way to spend a family day trip,or a couple of days camping. In the winter, the beach is still a lot of fun, just need to dress warmly and adapt to the weather. All in all,one of the best places to discover the awesomeness of Vancouver Island .it's been a few years since I was there, but this is a timeless adventure.

Even in the late fall the beach is beautiful! Great for a beach walk or taking photographs of our beautiful west coast.

but you have to haul your stuff a long ways through the endless beach if you want to make it to the shoreline ... which is hard work in the scorching sun, but well-worth the effort. LOTS of room for everyone, BUT NO LONGER dogs allowed!
