On the way back from Montreal to the USA, we just stopped by here for lunch. What a great and friendly restaurant!!! This will be a perfect place to have lunch before or after visiting Montreal from now on. It's a gem!

We loved the way the fresh salad is served - skewered spinach and so fresh. Good soup special. Very pleasant service with all the friendlyness of Martinique!

This restaurant has a sign out front inviting us to breakfast for 6.75$ and up. When we arrived, the 6.75 was for kids only and they proposed a brunch menu for 16 bucks. When we asked what a regular breakfast might cost (not on the menu), we were told that we wouldn't get much for 7.50 and that coffee was not included. We decided to leave. One of the personnel, likely one of the owners, yelled at us as we were leaving 'to go to Tim Horton's'. They might wish to rethink their poor level of politeness, particularly since we've eaten at this restaurant several times and always gave them good recommendations. They might also wish to rethink their patently misleading advertising. We went to Papie's in Orford instead where we had a lovely breakfast at half the price.

It's gonna take a while before you get your food, let's start with this information. So if you're in a hurry, not a good choice. But that put aside, it's a very nice place to try. And actually, we kind of figured we'd wait for a while and it was just fine. We had a very nice family dinner there at the end of June.

It seems to be a family owned and operated restaurant, which pleases me a lot. It's got this little personal touch... All the staff are very nice, polite, smiling and helpful. They will explain the short menu for you with the board that they bring to your table, but no worries, you can find something you like for sure, even if it's not a whole card. The night we went, there were shrimps, pork, fish and all kinds of tasty starters to discover.

The food isn't too exotic, but the spices used to prepare it are what make it taste west indian like. Try the pork, it was very good! Dessert was also delicious; not too sweet, unlike some people feared.

So it's a nice family restaurant, warm atmosphere and very dedicated service. Not very exotic, but definitely tasty.

Enjoy!
