Penny and I celebrated our 12th anniversary in Gananoque, here; we really enjoyed Doug Gifford, on his piano, playing Jazz Age Jazz, which was perfect for dinner.
We had Panko-crusted Grouper, along with great fries and a super Caesar, accompanied by a craft lager from Perth, which was excellent!

This restaurant had a wide variety of English pub style fare. There is entertainment available on different nights. The cost was in line with the food. The portion are large and tasty. The staff was thorough and helpful Easy to locate and great atmosphere and pictures in the pub.

We had the mussels, and the daily special pasta. Quite good and excellent prices. Couple of glasses of wine, and total price, with generous tip, under $45. Good deal, good service.

We had been 12 hours on the road in winter driving. We were staying in a local hotel and read a review for this Pub. And are we happy we did. THis Pub is a gem. Great Pub decor, open areas with lots of tables and also quiet nooks. The server was excellent and the food was terrific. I had the buffalo pot pie, served with a fluffy pastry topping and with home cut fires. Everything here is made fresh daily and if at all possible all ingredients are sourced locally. It was amazing and just what I needed. My wife had lamb sliders and sweet potato fries, they too were excellent. Best she has ever had. Portions were just right, not gut busting large. I heartily recommend the Old English Pub.

Old English Pub is a great place to visit on a chilly winter night. It has a pleasant, cozy, casual atmosphere. The menu is typical pub food and quite extensive for a relatively small place. The service was friendly and excellent. Thank you to Raza who served us.
We highly recommend the fish and chips.
However, try to leave room for the great desserts. Bread pudding or fried ice cream - yum!
