On our first trip to St. Andrews last week, we wanted a quick breakfast at a low price before heading out for the day. Found Tim Hortons in a small but nice looking building and decided to go inside to eat. Plenty of help were on duty but we stood for about 5 minutes in a line that turned out to be closed. I was wondering why we were getting looks but no help.
Finally moving to the correct counter, we each ordered Coffee, Egg Sandwiches and my wife ordered a Fruit Explosions Muffin to-go. The Coffee was excellent as was the Muffin. Both Egg Sandwichs, however, were barely warm with the egg scrambled and pasty.
Needless to say, we did not return to this Slow-Food Emporium. For the rest of our stay, we stuck with our hotel's coffee pot and tasty breakfast donuts, all easily available and without a wait
