This was our first visit to Big Horn Resort at Radium Hot Springs and were not to sure what to expect. We had booked a one bedroom suite (full kitchen) and when we entered the room we were quite impressed. This facility was far more than what we had expected, truly a picturesque resort. We attended a wedding that weekend that was on a golf course outside and the surrounding mountains made so magical, just a surreal surrounding. This is a place you need to find and stay, if you book in on a Friday they have a reception between 4 and 6 PM at the meeting room beside the office, DO NOT miss this! They had some great local wine, sponsored by a local liquor store and we met a wonderful man by the name of Max that provided us with so much information about the valley and things we could do. As we had limited time this time we are looking forward to coming back with more time to explore the valley further! 5 stars of 5 from us!

Room Tip: When booking pick the one bedroom suite!

We spent 5 days at Bighorn Resort in Radium Hot Springs . The resort is more than we had expected . It had everything that you would want in a stay & more . The condo was very well appointed with the kitchen & living area including the gas fireplace . The view of the balcony was simply amazing . It overlooked the pond on hole #9 of the Radium golf course . We even had the pleasure of watching Bighorn Sheep grazing near the green . The master bedroom was something to behold . It had a large King size bed with the most comfortable mattress & pillows we have ever had in any stay ever . Not to mention the large Whirlpool tub in the bedroom . It also had a very nice ensuite in the bedroom . We managed to golf 3 times at the golf course which was really nice & the course & staff were great , both at the Radium Golf Course & at BigHorn Resort . What a treat to stay here at Bighorn Resort . We will be back for sure .

This was a once in a lifetime amazing experience in a great family oriented Resort with breathtaking views on the golf course and snowy mountains in the background.
We could see all this as well as a family of 6 bighorn sheep from our villa, which was equipped with everything your heart could desire including a jetted Jacuzzi bathtub.
The location of this resort is vey convenient within a short drive to world known Radium hot springs pool, various waterfalls, lakes, mountains in Kootenay National Park and the Valley as well as within 1 and half hours drive from Lake Louise and Banff.
We have been to many resorts in the past 25 years and this resort is one that impressed us greatly.
We also appreciate an assistance from Opal ? the Office Lady for assistance with our boarding passes. This was indeed a classy act. Thank you very much.

Room Tip: All villas have superb views of the golf course and the mountains

This was a pretty quick trip. We only stayed one night and we wanted more. Everything was up to standard and the suite was very welcoming. My daughter who's 6 years old did not want to leave. She was extremely happy and we all had a great time.
The only disappointing thing was that nobody told us that the hot tub area was under construction. I asked if the pool was heated and the receptionist said yes. We chose a pretty gloomy day to go out to Radium but we were determined not to let the weather spoil the small get away for us knowing that we were going to have a hot tub and heated pool. When we decided to go down to the pool it was a little rainy and chilly .. we get in the pool and it was not really heated .. it might of been a few degrees higher than the atmosphere temperature but definitely not warm enough for us to enjoy it, counting with the cold weather already. Needless to say, we had to get out of the pool quickly and run to the suite to warm up. I filled up the jet tub for my daughter and we all warmed up in there.. and she finished having a good time .. nice and warm.

I would suggest that the staff mentions these kinds of things, because just like us, there might be more people looking forward to that portion of the trip.

Over all, it was an amazing experience and we would stay there again, and I would totally recommend the place... I would just let my friends know to check for these little changes so they don't get their hopes up. ☺️

We have been heading to the Columbia Valley for well over 10 years now and own at Bighorn Meadows just off the Springs Golf Course. The views from the area a spectacular and weather can be fantastic. We have typically had good weather over the spring and summer but the location is perfect to get to many places in the valley with a short drive. Upgrades are underway and we look forward to seeing the new renovations when we head there later this summer.

Room Tip: Views looking west across the valley are beautiful.
