The heritage is located between highway 97 and the 108 Lake. It consists of several buildings, all in good repair and very old. There are displays of logging equipment and various old buildings open to view, all situated in a grassy park like setting. Good for a picnic stop as there are all the facilities that you might need. It is seasonal as through the winter the snow closes in on the property.
Interesting buildings in a scenic spot. Getting tired.... get out of the vehicle and enjoy the scenery Good washrooms.
A great place to stop and take a break when traveling 97. The buildings are interesting, the site is relaxing. Toilets and Picnic tables are available.
The young lady in the gift shop is friendly and serves coffee.
Wonderful rest stop, big grassy areas, beautiful picturesque lakefront setting. Gift shop & snacks, interesting old buildings and info to read about the history.
