Owner description: The South Cariboo Visitor Centre is a charming log building and home of the unofficial "World's Largest X-Country Skis". Located along the 100 Mile Marsh, it's a great stop for a picnic and bird watching. For your convenience, restrooms, wireless internet, pay phone, fenced picnic area and tons of information are available to you! Ask a knowledgeable and friendly Visitor Information Counsellor for assistance with local or provincial information and you won't be disappointed! Also enjoy a lovely selection of unique souvenirs and books for sale. We are OPEN year round so stop on by!

I would rather adults staffed this visitor center .. teenage staff too interested in talking to one another or going for a break .. didn't feel very welcome.

I stop in almost every time I go through 100 Mile House, just for a visit. The staff are always friendly and full of information regarding highway conditions ahead. The center is also a novelty and souvenir shop with a good selection of items.

Wonderful friendly staff. Many books and guides to browse through, enjoyed wandering the centre to learn about our new home area!

Beautiful new log building. Very friendly and helpful staff. They have lots of information about the area. If nothing else stop to see the stair case, wow!

Pulled over for a rest stop and what a surprise. Picnic area at back of building, where there's a marsh with lots of birding opportunity. Arrived early Victoria Day weekend and no lineups, staff knowledgeable and eager to advise. But best of all, the massive amount of brochures, maps for all of BC, not just the Cariboo. Makes the Mt. Robson Info Center look amateur. Clean and very good washrooms. Wish all BC Info Centers were this inviting, with great info resources, staff, and nice outside area!
