We booked the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage in Feb 2017 for our stay Aug/Sept. From the initial process of booking until we drove off the property it was a great experience. First off, Gwen and Brendan could not have been more gracious and accommodating. They were there if you needed anything or had questions about the local area. The cottage had everything that you would need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. The bed was comfy and the pots and pans and kitchen things were not your typical "rental stuff". Good quality!!!The deck had a "living room and a "dining room" that was great. The sun was on it in the morning and moved off by late morning so it was pleasant to sit out there always. The BBQ was new and had a side burner that was great for cooking anything that might have been strong smelling if I had cooked it inside on the stove. The linens were fresh and clean and the unit itself was spotless. We met a young couple that were staying in the 2 bedroom motel unit and they commented on how clean the unit was. It is something you expect of course but is not always. Hats off to Gwen and Brendan for making that a priority. There was a flat screen TV in the cottage but there is no cable (we were happy about that because we might have been tempted to have it on otherwise and that would have cut in to out relaxing, reading and lake time). They have a huge selection of DVDs however and the TV had a built in player so we did end up watching a couple of movies later in the evening. Also there is tons of games, toys and water toys in case people needed them. I can see this would be a great place for family reunions or larger groups to stay, lots of grass for kids to run and play on and it is fenced in so safe. The real treat is the lake is a minute form the property. It is a small public beach that has some shade for most of the day if you needed that and great swimming and lounging in the warmest tree lined lake in Canada. Truly was the best lake vacation we have been on in the 40 years we have been vacationing. Thank you Gwen and Brendan once again. Enjoy your time in Mexico once you are finished for the season!! Dennis and Joanne

Room Tip: Even though we were just a couple the 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage was great. Large private deck was fantastic...

We had to rent an RV site pdq...as our booked site next door was too small (lost our deposit) $&@"&$! Anyway they gave us a great spot, very clean and quiet! Not far from the beach...everyone very friendly! Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again....loved it!

Room Tip: We stayed in an RV site...there are only 4....so book well in advance! I think the rooms would be the same also! Lots of repeat customers!

We were a group of friends coming off of the Columbia Western Rail Trail in the dark and in the rain! Brendan met us on his bike and guided us to our warm, dry accommodations. They helped us get some food late at night. We slept well! Thanks Gwen and Brendan..we will be back!

We booked "The Rose Cabin" at Blue Mountain Lodge with Gwen back in Sept 2015, as one needs to book early, for our trip in July 2016. We stayed there for a total of five nights at a great price. Gwen and Brendan actually bend over backwards making our stay one of the most enjoyable ever. It was scorching hot (great for swimming) as the lake was practically out our door, we asked if there was a way to get an A/C and Brendan got us a portable one that made a world of difference. Next was a toaster, a table for our front yard and the BBQ needed a refill. Brendan and Gwen supplied us with everything in a matter of minutes upon our requests. They were 100% the best hosts we could possibility ask for. We wanted to stay longer but like I stated we only booked for 5 days. I would not hesitate to book with Gwen and Brendan in the future and highly recommend this camp site as one of the very Best in Christina Lake. Thank You Both so very much for the hospitality. Arthur B. Grant Winnipeg Manitoba.

Room Tip: All rooms a very clean and newly remodelled over the past four years. Fresh clean sheets, towels bedding and cabins.

We rented Cabin #9 in August/16 for 4 of us and had a great time at Brenden and Gwen's place for 5 nights. Really nice to sit out on the covered patio morning and evening. BBQ provided as well. Unit was very clean and newly renovated. Fans in all the rooms kept the place remarkably cool in the 36 C heat! Resort is only half a block from a nice little public beach which was great for a quick dip to cool off or to launch a paddle board or kayak. Brenden and Gwen are very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely keep this place in mind for any future return visit. Thanks!

Room Tip: Very close to the Kettle Valley Railway/Trans Canada Trail for awesome biking!
