Stayed on night in 35 ft RV. Roomy sites ND lots of room to walk dogs - it's a large park. Has a RV/car wash onsite for rinsing of the dust. You can get a meal, buy a postcard and fill up your gas tank here. It was a nice place and the staff was great. One thing, buy the guy who works in the RV park office an alarm clock. Quite a few people were waiting for him to open the office in the AM.

We stayed at 2 nights at one of their front cabins and made the mistake not to ask how much the rates are first & were shocked when we saw how much we paid for a pretty average cabin. It was clean & had a huge TV but other than that it did not have anything else. There wasn't a kitchenette nor an AC & the view was basically the parking spot & the highway (which is pretty noisy). The woman we checked in with was really friendly & even drew us a map of the nearby trail to a small lake, which was pretty nice. But checking out was one of the worst services I have ever experienced. Not only it unclear when the checkout time was (one sign said 10 AM, another 11 AM), which is a big deal for someone who likes to sleep a little longer but the reception, which is in the gift shop was still closed. So I tried the restaurant next door, since it belongs to the same owner & they were extremely unfriendly. They ignored me for a while even though it was not that busy and when I asked where to leave the key, someone yelled at me from the kitchen to just drop it on the counter. I definitely will not stay here again.

When we arrived they told us they were open and ready for business. The male manager got verbally abusive to the female manager when she tried to help him (he didn't know what he was doing) with our transaction. They said they had plenty of 50 amp hook up sites we couldn't find them nor anyone on staff to help us find them. Their laundry room was locked and no one had a key to open it; their RV/car wash area didn't work. The manager of the gift shop was so busy telling someone on the phone how to fill out their disability forms so they would get 100% disability she forgot we were in the store. And, they charged the hubby $10.00 (American) for pie with ice cream! In our opinions they charged way too much ($49.50 per night) for the site we were in and as soon as the sun came up - we were gone!!!!

Our third visit here, driving a small RV.
Had been pleased with this park before, well maintained, clean washrooms and laundromat and fast internet.
We were not impressed that the fee for a site with water and power had gone up by a full 50% since last year. There are signs everywhere explaining their high cost for Internet, and limiting use from 3pm till 10 or 11 pm, which was inconvenient for us. We needed it in the morning before leaving. If I pay $54 per night I don't expect to be limited to that extent. There is only cold water at the bathroom sinks, while the hand dryers are only blowing lukewarm air.
2 bison burgers with fries and coleslaw and 2 glasses of wine, hardly a gourmet meal, set us back $85. Excessive.
We will not be back.

We stayed in this campground in 2012 and are planning on staying there on our trip back to Alaska in 2016 - both to and from! Full services, spacious sites, pull through, very clean showers and washrooms - a refreshing change from the sardine packed parks in Watson Lake or the lack of services from Fort Nelson along the Alcan to Watson Lake. There's even a restaurant (good meals) and a gift shop that had unique things to buy. Walking trails are a plus for photographers - early morning mists and evening sun shining through the pine forest (with little undergrowth) are a bonus.
