We visited this site for 3 nights, and it was lovely. It has amazing views and private pebble beach(we took some home for memories). Showers and toilet facilities are only a minute or two away from your pitch, there only basic but clean and what you need for camping. Staff are very Friendly and helpful. There's lots to do within 30/45 minutes drive if you want to venture out, we went to aber falls which I would definitely recommend! The only thing that let our holiday down was the campers next to us pitching their tent up after 9pm from moving from another pitch, when it had been free all afternoon and early evening, also still talking loudly, slamming car doors and still talking loudly and laughing really late on. This was really annoying for anyone else trying to get to sleep. I would recommend this campsite and would come back! :)

We stayed 3 nights august bank holiday, the site is perfect for kids 6 & 9 they loved it. very quiet with just the river sounds for company the lady who runs it went above and beyond for us opening the shop out of hours for marshmellows, toilets are spotless (even music in there) showers are hot and 20p for 3 mins (very reasonable we felt) fire pits on beach wood for sale or bring your own, all in all we will be back in the future we loved it!!!

We are seasoned campers in our 1977 VW camper van and have just spent 5 days at this campsite.
Before we booked we read the reviews and decided to ask for a flat sheltered area.

Upon arrival our pitch could not have been more perfect ( pitch no 5) near shower blocks and a quick 5 minute walk to the beach.

The showers and toilets were lovely ( 20p gave you a 3 minute hot shower) . The washing up area had the most amazing setting next to a beautiful little stream with geese thrown in.

The beach is a perfect place to go and watch the sun go down whilst making toasted marshmallows on a fire at night and to hunt for crabs through the day time.

We also witnessed the most amazing night sky full of stars/ milky ways with zero light pollution.

When we made the reservation we told the owners that we were looking for perfect......and I think we found it!

The position is beautiful watching the sun set each night, the facilities need upgrading near the beach. You are in a good position to do plenty of walking, would advice to book for a weekend as it gets busy.

We stayed here for 5 nights with my husband and 6 year old girl. We chose a sheltered pitch with ehu and we were so pleased with it as we were about 50 metres to the beach (pebble) so we could see the sea whilst sat at our pitch. We received a warm welcome from the owner. The site doesn’t have lots of facilities but it had enough for us and has the minimum - little park, showers, shop with the basics, pool table and they made pizzas on Saturday and Tuesdays. The beach was great for kids to explore, as when the tide went out it exposed rock pools. There was also a stream that we through the campsite that was great for kids to mess around in. It’s well located for day trips to abersoch, Criccieth, pwhellhi and Caernarvon! You could also have a camp fire on the beach which was really popular whilst the sun went down!

The only improvements I would like to see are - toilet blocks cleaned. I dont think they were cleaned in the 5 days we were there! And There’s also no mirror in the toilets which would be great as the shower block is a long walk from most pitches. Other than that it’s a lovely campsite and I probably would return again.
