Got taken here as a 50th Birthday present. I have had afternoon tea in many places including the Dorchester, the Imperial Hong Kong, Sanderson London etc. The Woburn Coffee House beats all of these places hands down. This is the afternoon tea to top all afternoon teas. It's absolutely exquisite. We were given a tour on arrival. There is an orangery which can be used for large functions such as a 40 person wedding reception, a snug and an upstairs lounge for private functions of up to about 12. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the host, and the service from the staff was outstanding. We went for the celebration afternoon tea. Words cannot describe how special and delicious it was. Loved every minute. Book well in advance as it's always very popular.

We took our mother as a special birthday treat. To begin with there were a few issues with the booking, which meant lots of contact with the owners and made me a little dubious. However, on arrival we were seated in the front room toward the back. The house was decorated beautifully. The food was presented beautifully and looked so appetising! Overall, lovely experience - the tea was gorgeous, my brother said the coffee was good too. I have specific dietary requirements and on 2/3 occasions I was served the incorrect food but they were ever so apologetic - no worries at all! The did a little chocolate birthday treat for mum which was a lovely surprise.

We were recommended by a colleague to visit here for tea. I book weeks ahead and pleased we did. What an incredible experience. You shouldn't eat for 3 days before going and you will not be able to eat for a week after. The display and precision of the food on the plates is incredible. The china compliments all the food and you think that you have gone back in time. The food was so plentiful a doggy bag was asked for to take the remaining cakes home. The service and professionalism of the staff and management made this place.Very clever pastry chef.

I have now been to Woburn Tea Rooms twice and can safely say that on both occasions I was very impressed with quality of food, service and surroundings.
Different as you don't get the traditional sandwiches which is great. Instead small pots of different salads, meat, fish etc with wonderful dressings using lovely ingredients. Other savoury canapes, cakes & scones are delightful and then staff bring round warm cheese scones to your table as they come out of the oven.
Surroundings are very quaint and traditional with a cottage type setting at the front going into an orangery then a garden. Both visits I have sat in the orangery which is very bright & welcoming.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Always busy which means it's good of course! Don't hesitate to book this for a lovely afternoon out.

Went here with two friends, such a beautiful place. The decor and the layout gives it such a good atmosphere. The food was amazing, a large selection and amazing presentation. I highly recommend this place! It was such a lovely afternoon, and the outside area was beautiful too. Good customer service too.
