Well what a busy restaurant this is. We were made welcome by the front of house and quickly shown to our table. The restaurant was extremely busy and very noisy. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. We chose the three course Anniversary dinner which came with a glass of champagne. Very delightful staff and situated in lovely Clifton village

My family came here for dinner because we wanted to find an alternative to eating at Cau. We loved the buzzing atmosphere and the waitress was delightful. We had a variety of mains - duck breast, Breton fish stew, rib-eye steak and moules marineres with assorted puddings. The verdict on the fish stew was that it was delicious. The rest was generally okay but nothing special, i.e. we'd had better in various other places. As we enjoyed the ambience so much however, we would like to give the restaurant another try.

You can't go wrong with the food - it's not amazing but it is always good. Portion sizes on the small size if you go for the early bird menu, but still good value.

Do book as it gets busy, even on weekday evenings. As a result it gets rather noisy so not a great choice if you are hard of hearing.

Visited last night with my parents and girlfriend and had a good overall experience. The staff were fantastic, especially Alice who was really attentive and had great rapport with us all night. The food was decent but not great. The Rib-Eye that myself and father has was average and slightly overlooked, however my mother loved her Belly Pork. The deserts took a while to come out but were very nice when they arrived. Overall a good evening, 5 star staff, 3.5 stars for the food
