Having not visited the SS Great Britain since childhood (a long, long time ago), today’s visit was a surprising treat, and I only wish I had done it sooner! Such a fantastic place, with so much to do, the year-long ticket is not only great value for money, but very much needed in order to explore this attraction further. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to coming back.

Thank Emma K

My husband and I visited Easter Saturday and had a great time over 3 hours of interesting facts, friendly staff and lots to see. Good for children and well equipped for older gentle folk. There is the ship and museum, a place to eat and drink, guided tours and so much more. We had a lovely time. Car park near by a minuet away.

Our first visit was great and made more enjoyable by the staff who were really helpful and friendly. The attraction was great too and the rigging climb was a highlight.

It was fascinating looking around the historic S S Great Britain which has been restored sensitivity and include scenes with sounds and smells so you get a full experience. The dry doc let’s you see all of the hull and learn about preservation and the ‘boat shed’ gives interesting details about the crew and life of the ship.
Also the museum is excellent. It’s full of historic items, interesting information, interactive items and friendly crew.
I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone.
