We were in Bristol for a function elsewhere and were booked here overnight.
We received a very warm reception by a superb receptionist and loved our Loft Suite, it was spacious, funky and luxurious.
After a late night we appreciated the comfy bed, spot on AC and really good breakfast.
This would be my first choice of hotel in Bristol.

Been here with a friend for lunch and we were both amazed with the venue. We ate in the bar area. The food was delicious (both starters and mains) and the waiter was very attentive. Will definitely visit again.

Stayed over night on a business trip and more than happy with my stay. The hotel is central and close to local restaurants for evening meals. The room are well presented and the history of the building is interesting. The staff were some of the best, friendly and helpful I’ve come across. Thank you for a great stay guys

The afternoon tea was very disappointing. The selection of savouries were quite large, not the dainty sandwiches we've had in other places and quite uninspiring. A brioche bun with egg, a cold croissant with ham and cheese. The sweet plate had a very nice gin & tonic sundae and a beautiful miniature lemon meringue tart. That's where the joy ended, there were two scones each, and a doughnut. The scones were of 'normal' size, both of which were warm when they were delivered to the table, but by the time we got to them, they had cooled down and were quite clearly stale. We weren't at any time offered a top-up of tea either. Hotel Du Vin, you should take a tip from Berwick Lodge, outstanding afternoon tea with exciting delicate little bites, at a fraction of the cost!
