We stayed here Saturday 16th Dec for one night. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room and very very warm. Amazing breakfast with everything cooked fresh. More than helpful staff. We were recommended to the Chinese Restaurant about 5 mins walk away and it was amazing. We will be back to this B & B at some point.

Room Tip: Main building. Bedroom little too warm for us but I'm sure owner will sort this

We stayed two nights in room 11. Great size room with massive bed, nice en-suite.
Breakfast is plentiful, well cooked and nicely presented. The staff are all very helpful and attentive. It is well placed within walking distance into Chester. There is plenty of off road parking within the hotel grounds.

Received a very warm welcome on arrival - quick check in and convenient parking. Excellent breakfast with friendly and efficient service. Stayed in one of the annexe rooms - very clean and good facilities but the bed was very hard and the walls are very thin meaning you hear the TV , snoring etc from the adjoining room. However, would certainly use again.

Rooms and service are quite basic and you can see that it has not aged well. However it is well located walking distance to town and it does have ample space to park your vehicle and its free. Breakfast provided.

I had a one night stay travelling on my own and would definitely recommend; this was a last minute booking and was an excellent price.

The receptionist was lovely - helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and although a small single room was perfectly ok for my needs.

Location is great; five mins walk away from Hoole Village which has pubs, shops and eating places galore or a £5 taxi (1m) from the city centre.

Breakfast was swiftly served -there was a choice of cereal, fruit juice and a classic English breakfast which was well cooked and used decent ingredients.

Only a 2 star rating (probably as they don't do evening meals and have limited facilities) but this is a really good value hotel which I found much better and more personal than lots of more expensive chains with higher star ratings.

Room Tip: book a double room if you can even if travelling solo.
