A lovely place with incomparable views of Falmouth harbour and within walking distance of the town centre. Very clean.

“Great time had by all”
Reviewed 7 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Just returned from a lovely weeks stay with my family
The view from the window looking over the marina was worth the 7hr journey alone
The accommodation felt very homely as soon as we walked in and every room of the house was very clean, well equipped and just a comfortable place to stay
The location is great with Falmouth harbour being a 15 min walk and supermarkets a 2 min drive away
We were very lucky with the weather and made the most of the beautiful garden
The highlight of the stay for me (and my wife) though was sitting in the swivel chairs in the evening watching the sun go down over the marina and beyond with a glass or 2 of wine................perfect!

“Wonderful base to explore the county from”
Reviewed 5 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My parents, my husband and I recently stayed at Waters Edge for a week. The first, very pleasant, surprise was that the pictures really do tell the truth.

The property was clean, well equipped (particularly the kitchen) and the view of the marina was just lovely. We had fantastic weather all week which always helps give a good impression but the bungalow was comfy enough to enjoy spending time inside as well.

It's a short walk into town - Falmouth is rather hilly though so be prepared for a little climb on the way back home!

Plenty of off road parking as well - which in this area seems a bit like gold dust!

Overall we all highly recommend Waters Edge and would happily stay there again in the future!

Thank you!

“stay at waters edge was very good would book again.”
Reviewed 1 May 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The view from the property was excelent and the property itself was like home from home.
For familys with children there was a wii game and computer games and allsorts to many to list. The wife and I would book again. The only thing we found was the entrance was small making it tight to get in and out with a big car.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?
How easy was key pickup/access to the property? Overall condition of the property

“Whatever you wish it to be,......”
Reviewed 2 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Having read previous reviews we contacted the owner to enquire on our dates we wished to stay as they were not on normal start days....the booking was done with so much ease and contact was very quick....With this in mind we eagerly arrived on a Sunday, and found the bungalow so easy to get to, very clean and with everything that it promised.....The view from the main window is astounding with the garden as a foreground there is always something to look at, with the vast window to the world, and the ever so relaxing leather chairs and even binoculars provided if you want them. , A pair of robins,a blue tit, and at least one pair of blackbirds are regular visitors to the garden which extends down to a gated quayside
..Although we went in January, we can only imagine what summer months in Falmouth have in store for anyone staying here, with the thoughts of BBQs forefront of the dreamy thoughts.
With Playstation, Wii, Sky TV, including Sky Movies, a computer, a bookcase with a variety of reading, a stylish kitchen equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, washing machine and enough glasses and place settings to take full advantage of the dishwasher. Beds are really comfy, and the bathroom is spacious, parking is good and entry in and out of the entrance is not a problem. With being so near to the town centre you can either walk or easily find parking in town.
With easy access to the remainder of Cornwall with St Ives, Penzance, Helston and Flambards as well as Newquay only being a short drive away.
We will definitely be wanting to stay again, and will make this our first choice in an area we visit at this time of year we just wish we had discovered it in previous years.
All in all a very nice property which does not feel like a holiday let, as, as soon as you enter you feel quite at home and you can easily make your stay at Waters Edge.......... Whatever you wish it to be....... Thanks Paul
