Great for take-away or to eat in, and the benefit of eating in is that you can have their OAP special of small fish and chips with mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea. AND, nice cold white wine by the glass at reasonable price. Good vale. Lots of choice on menu. Always good service. Parking just across the road or park for free after 6pm right outside the door.

Three things to say - quality, quality, quality!
Second time getting our fish and chips here. Both times they hit the spot.

It is well worth the effort of walking up Quarry Hill to get fish & chips from this little place. Generally the fish is cooked to order so you may have to wait a bit but the wait is worth it - moist, delicious fish in lovely crispy batter and the chips are pretty good too! Try them - you won't be disappointed.
