Just had a fantastic stay at Ron and Carol's wonderful guest house. We stayed in a suite with a steam room shower in the ensuite and a massaging king sized bed. The lounge had a balcony and fridge and a second tv, along with all the other facilities usually expected of a hotel but not often found in a guest house. However good the facilities were though, by far the best thing about this place are the owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them, both are really warm and friendly and you really couldn't ask for any more. There are loads of personal touches which make such a difference. Breakfast is to die for, huge choice and probably the best I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels and b&b's all over the country, most ok, some good but none I'd really rush back to...until now. I would stay here again in an instant. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Dave & Mish

The Hepworth Guest House is a little gem. Situated only two minutes walk from the waterfront, restraunts and bars it is an ideal spot to explore Newsday and the surrounding area..
My husband and I were just on a short break to visit family and Heligan but wished we didn't have to leave when our three nights were up..
Our hosts, Carol and Ron gave a such a warm welcome, showed us to our well appointed ensuite room and offered us tea and home made cakes in the guest lounge.
The breakfast menu was overwhelming, such an assortment of mountaineering dishes that, when served, certainly didn't disappoint. I ONLY wish we had asked for smaller portions on reflection as we hate to waste food
We cannot praise the Hepworth enough and hope that we can find the opportunity (and the driving strength in our old age - it's a long way for us) to visit these lovely people once again

Room Tip: We had room 7 but the web site shows all the rooms clearly

We stayed at The Hepworth for a week. Welcomed by the charming, friendly Carol & Ron with some very welcome coffee and cakes. We had the Victorian Room (which was the only one available when we booked). It was a lovely bright room, nice and clean and ,although a tad small for moving around, it was fine for us. We saw some of their other rooms which were larger and had more modern decor & furnishings. Breakfast was lovely & served up quickly in a large bright conservatory. The hotel is in a very good position in town, zoo & park just 5 mins one way & bus stop for all buses 5 minutes the other way. Carol & Ron very nice, helpful hosts. Will stay again if back in the area.

This is an exceptional example of a B&B. The guest always comes first, the food is first rate, the rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. Ron and Carol are constantly working on improving and/or maintaining the standards they've set and they do an amazing job. Location is convenient to the town, without being in the middle of it. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Newquay.

Thankyou it is so nice to be appreciated, as you know we are a family bed and breakfast but for many years we were a hotel, and we have strived to keep our standards of a hotel, and aim to be the best in our field, providing the very best of fresh food and having an initiative menu, it is so good to be appreciated, thankyou so much for your wonderful review,
warmest wishes Carol & Ron

Just back from a week at the Hepworth. Very nice place. We had The Victorian Room which is the smallest of the double rooms and it didn't have much room to move around, but it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Saw some of the other rooms/suites and they ARE very nicely decorated, furnished and have loads of space! On arrival the charming Carol and Ron greeted us and supplied a much appreciated cup of coffee and home-made cakes! For breakfast there was a huge choice and all cooked and delivered quickly. The position of the house in the town is very good. Zoo and park at bottom of road in five minutes, all buses at other end of road in five minutes, and the station is only about 8 mins. Ron has a great knowledge of the area and can supply much information. He also bakes cakes daily which were fab! So nice time had.
