We went to the tea room by chance having visited the local Japanese Gardens. Then food was fresh, generous and excellent quality. I had a chutney with my meal which was so good that I asked about it and, to my pleasure I was able to buy a jar.

It went very quickly and I have subsequently been able to order more jars by post.

Will definitely go back when we are next in Cornwall.

In the centre of a small typical country village this tea room at the back of the post office and stores is in the perfect location. No traffic noise, not too many people and a magnificent cottage garden to view which even in October was full of lovely colours. The menu was extensive including home made soups, and covered most tastes. The service was excellent and friendly. This is one of the nicest tea rooms I have visited and will visit again

We had lunch at these tea rooms yesterday and the food and service were excellent. A lovely location and sitting having lunch below a grapevine full,of grapes was wonderful. The smell of fresh home cooking as you walk in is amazing and welcoming. The little garden which the tea room overlooks is delightful We visited the Japanese gardens around the corner which were really nice as well. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely place to visit and enjoy a wonderful cream tea. Visited many times with children and now as a happily retired couple, always a friendly welcome. The scones are amazing and worth a return visit whenever we are in Cornwall. Thank you!
